We Booked a Flight 7 Months in Advance

Dear Extreme Planners (like me),

Ever plan something so far in advance it doesn’t seem real? We’ll I planned a month excursion for the summer in December. Before that I had been saving nickel, dime, and birthday money for this eventual trip. I didn’t know when it was going to come it was just one of those things I always talked about but had no rock-solid plans.

But then airline prices for Zurich, Switzerland dropped the lowest I had ever seen! So, I called my friend, and we booked! It was set we were going to fly out! It was awesome, adult feeling. But that faded when I had to go back to school. Then summer break hit and there is less than 60 days till we fly out!! Which made it real. I just got done with school, now in two months I’ll be wandering the streets of Zurich. I don’t even have a backpack or towel to take.

I need to get my butt into gear!
